"Continuity" Mount Pisgah Wildflower Festival 2024 Offering
This piece was created for the Mount Pisgah Wildflower Festival in May 2024. In the wake of the devastating loss of trees in the January ice storm, I sat with a few trees and listened quietly, and was assured that they aren't dead, that they are fulfilling a new role. Everything continues their journey along this great spiral.
People were invited to stand in the altar in the foot outlines or place their hands on the Earth in the hand outlines and simply listen, be in stillness, or offer their own spoken or unspoken heartfelt wishes.
